Walker Flat is nestled in amongst some
of the most breathtaking cliffs that the Murray has to
offer. If you are heading up from Mannum, Walker Flat
is a 46km roadtrip to the Walker Flat turn off and then
a quick meander down to the ferry.
It's a great idea to hop out of your car on to the ferry
deck during the crossing to Bowhill and take the opportunity
to photograph the inspirational ochre coloured cliffs
that Walker flat has on display.
Walker Flat is a haven for waterskiers and boating enthusiasts
offering sheltered waters and beautiful surroundings.
If you can spare the time then you won't be disappointed
by a trip to the Walker Flat lookout, above the ferry.
